2010 Burton [ak] Cyclic Jacket

Return of the Cyclic.
For 2010 we designed and prototyped an all-new Cyclic jacket. However, everyone likes the 2009 Cyclic so much, we were asked to carry the design forward for 2010.

2010 W’s Burton [ak] Slider Anorak

The AK Slider Anorak was something we wanted to do for a long time, and finally did. A cool, technical Gore-tex pullover for Women! Check it out..
We originally built the Slider Anorak prototype as a 3L Pro-shell. However it ended up fitting into the line best as a Gore 2L pullover.

2010 Burton [ak] LZ Down Jacket

One of our favorite jackets continues to evolve and improve. The 2010 LZ Down gets a new drop hood design that improves the function in a couple of ways; As the hood is now integrated to the outside of the collar, it allows the collar to stand properly while not wearing the hood. Where the ’09 full time hood pulled the front of the collar back against your face, the ‘010 design allows the shaped collar to relax. Without the hood pulling the collar down you get better weather protection too. The bottom line is, it works better and is much more comfortable.

AETHER – Waxed Vest

Designed and engineered at FYi; The AETHER Waxed Vest is another stand-out favorite from the Fall Collection. A robust waxed cotton exterior combined with a buttery soft quilted Primaloft insulation take a classic vest to the next level.

This garment needs to be seen and felt to be fully understood. Contact AETHER for more information.

2010 Burton W’s [ak] Hybrid Insulator

Like the Men’s, the W’s Hybrid Insulator uses a combination of quilted synthetic insulation, and synthetic fleece. It’s strategically patterned for warmth and breathability. The objective with the Hybrids is to be the ultimate thermal layering garment.

2010 Burton W’s [ak] Static 3L Jacket

This is the Women’s technical 3L shell. It’s a 3L laminate, with a brushed poly ‘flannel’ interior. External chest pocket, interior laminated pass pocket, interior laminated chest pocket, hand pockets, pow-skirt with zip jacket-to-pant interface, lower hem draw cinch, pit zips, and an integrated drop-hood that allows the collar to stand even when not using the hood.

2010 Burton [ak] Hybrid Jacket

Hands down the ultimate thermal layering jacket. The [ak] Hybrid is a combination of synthetic fleece and synthetic quilted insulation. It’s patterned to keep your core warmer, while keeping more air-permeability in high perspiration zones. I pretty much live in this garment most of the winter. You should too.

2010 Burton [ak] BK Insulator

The BK Insulator is a must-have. In winter I run a BK more than any other garment. It’s the go-to 6 days a week. On the -really- cold days, I even run it as my thermal layer under a Hover jacket, and it works great. It’s super buttery soft, compressible and lightweight, with premium goose-down insulation. Two hand pockets, chest pocket, lower hem cinch, and pit zips.

That’s all you need.

2010 Burton [ak] Hover Jacket

The new AK Hover Jacket has gone to the next level. It’s a 3L Proshell Gore-tex laminate with a high performance 70 denier Nylon face, combined with the ultralight ‘kaya’ woven backer on the inside. This jacket is ideal for backcountry use with the highest possible breathability, and two big reach across cargo pockets (fully accessible while wearing a backpack) that have external bellows, so the volume of the loaded pockets stays on the outside. You can literally put a DVcam in the pocket, and forget it’s there! This is a minimalist / purpose built high performance snowboarding shell, if you’re looking for the bells and whistles feature package, look elsewhere…

This is the best snowboarding shell on-snow for 2010.

Will hit global retail next month.
